BeInterBaltic – Intersections in built environment
promoting interdisciplinary higher education in the Baltic Sea Region

BISS 2017

The Baltic International Summer School 2017 (BISS) at the HCU in Hamburg aims at a continuous academic exchange and presents a broader perspective on education and practice in the context of disciplines of built environment. The BISS 2017 is a part of the project BeInterBaltic which is implemented within the ERASMUS+ program strategic partnerships.

This year the area east of Hamburg`s city center, in particular around the infrastructural joint „Elbbrücken“ will be the stage for the BISS 2017 “City Elements - Infrastructure and networks shaping harbourg areas”. The project groups are asked to deal with on-site design and project production in the selected area, as a model for other harbor cities in the Baltic Sea Region and thus the participants of the BISS.
